Well, actually just the beginning of the framing for the walls. A break in the rain today and the workmen got started. I've added a slideshow to this blog, so that you can see all the photos on the Picasa album.
Here's a view of the walls of the new family room. The kids went with me, and they were impressed. Jackson had some of the same reaction I do -- it's scary and freaks us out to be there. Stella wanted to linger and take a million photos. That's okay. We goofed off with the mirror upstairs. I hope she'll post her own photos here.
The workmen have a coffee pot in the bathroom. I'm not sure about that, but I think it's one of the few rooms with working power outlets.
